Kevin J. O’Donnell is the President and Founder of O’Donnell Commercial Real Estate, Inc. O’Donnell Commercial is a full service commercial brokerage firm serving the western suburbs of Chicago, with a special emphasis on the Greater Fox Valley area. Currently the firm, which originated in 2001, handles approximately one million square feet of building space and over 120 acres of land throughout the market.
Prior to founding O’Donnell Commercial, Mr. O’Donnell spent over eighteen years with nationally recognized commercial brokerage firms. Most recently, Mr. O’Donnell was with Colliers, Bennett, and Kahnweiler where he worked within the Corporate Advisors Group. Key transactions throughout his career include the sale of the Safety-Kleen headquarters to
Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin, the leasing and sale of a 150,000 square foot industrial
space to Compact Industries in St. Charles, Illinois, and multiple deals in the Liberty Business Campus of Aurora such as the 900,000 square foot industrial lease to LTD Commodities. In total, Mr. O’Donnell has completed well over a billion dollars of completed transactions throughout this career.
Mr. O’Donnell graduated from the University of Denver in Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He currently is involved in a number of local organizations including the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Association of Realtors, Realtor Association of Fox Valley and National Association of Realtors. Mr. O’Donnell also shas sat on the Board of Directors for the Greater St. Charles Education Foundation, CASA Kane County and Delnor Men’s Foundation. He resides in St. Charles, Illinois with his wife and two children who are also heavily vested into the community.
His wife, Vilija, is a long time employee of ComEd currently in Senior Energy
